What a great 2011 summer swim season it was! The future is bright for the Dolphins with so many great new families and super swimmers! It's going to be big fun for years to come! See you back at the pool in the spring!
The following Individuals and relays have achieved ALL-STAR times this season and are eligible to swim in the All-Star Meet on Sunday, July 31st IF they rank within the top 16 in the county:
Below is the evaluation form that we will be distributing at the banquet. Here's an opportunity to download the form and fill it out in advance. Good feedback is the only way we can get better, so please put in the time.
Congratulations to Kate Zimmerman- who qualified to swim the Girls 13-14 100M Breaststroke in the MCSL Coaches Invitational Longcourse Meet...meaning she is top 8 in the county!
She competed on Tuesday night, and finished 6th, but only 1.7 seconds out of 1st! A tight race! Way to go Kate!
Recap of Week 3- Lauren and Coach Dave’s upcoming wedding may have proved to be the motivation we needed to swim to our first win of the season over Franklin Knolls and push our arch-nemesis, Flower Valley, to a super close meet ending with in 25 point loss.
Both meets were close, with Saturday’s meet ending with a 6 point win where EVERY point and place counted, it really came down to the last relays. WAY TO GO, TEAM! You were excited and swam fast and it showed!
Here is the proof:
2011 Dolphin Time-Droppin’ Clubs
Week 3:
Wow! Whew! Yeah! The meet on Saturday was a close one! I love it when the entire meet comes down to the last relays. Great job to all those that participated and to those that crowded the pool deck to cheer them on. That was one of the loudest races a I recall in recent history. Keep up all the good work everyone.
